GOGOCAR allows you to choose the car based on your needs and/or your tastes and we constantly strive to ensure that the chosen car is waiting for our customers on the day of collection. In extreme cases, if this is not possible, you will be informed of the replacement and a vehicle of the booked category or higher will be delivered to you
You can pick up your car at our office located at Via Simone Martini 135, conveniently located near the Laurentina Metro B stop. Alternatively, for an additional fee, you can request delivery directly to the airport or your hotel, provided the property is within the GRA (Grande Raccordo Anulare).
The answer is very simple, for as long as you want!
We are open from Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 18:00 excluding holidays. If you need to pick up your car on Saturday, write to us.
We recommend that you write to us through the various channels specifying the period and possibly the request for unlimited mileage.
We will provide you with a tailor-made quote as soon as possible.
No, the cost is always the same even if you return your item early.
Returning the vehicle after the specified time will incur an extra day's rental fee. However, there is some flexibility, so please let us know your needs.
There's no need to wash the outside of the car; simply pick up any debris inside. A €40 + VAT penalty will apply only for deep dirt requiring special cleaning.
Rental requirements
You will be asked:
- Valid identity document
- Driving license (issued for at least 12 months)
- Credit or debit card in your name (prepaid cards are not accepted)
- If you are resident in a country that is not part of the EU you will also have to present your passport
NB. If you intend to drive vehicles in a non-EU country, it is generally necessary to apply for an International Driving Permit (also known as an International Driving Licence).
You can rent as long as you're at least 19 years old and have held a valid driver's license for at least 12 months. However, those under 25 pay a surcharge.
Yes, if you have all the requirements for driving vehicles. An extra charge of €5 per day per person will be applied for the total duration of the rental.
NB We will ask you a few days before your rental to communicate the data of the additional driver so that we can insert it in the rental agreement
Deductibles and Coverage
All vehicles are covered by RC insurance which guarantees coverage of Civil Liability towards third parties.
There is no coverage for driver injuries.
In the event of an accident with total or partial responsibility of the driver (collision damage) and in the event of accidental damage, the standard deductible is €1000 + VAT, while for theft it is €2000 + VAT
You can reduce or eliminate deductibles by purchasing additional coverage.
Accidental damages are those that affect only the bodywork, including:
- crystals
- mirrors
- headlights
- windshield wipers
- external accessories
- antennas and sensors
- circles
- tires and wheels
Coverage reduces the deductible to:
- €250 + VAT for damages
- €500 + VAT for theft
It is the most complete solution since eliminates the deductibles provided for in the contract for damage and theft of the vehicle.
In the event of an accident, the customer must:
- fill out the CAI form located in the vehicle's glove compartment;
- promptly notify our support;
- follow the instructions provided by our operator.
In case of vehicle theft, it is necessary to:
- contact our support immediately;
- file a complaint with the competent authorities;
- follow the instructions provided by our staff.
Security Deposit and Rental Payment
On the day of vehicle collection you will be asked to leave a security deposit by credit or debit card.
The amount varies according to the vehicle category:
- Economy: €500.00
- Intermediate: €600.00
- Luxury: €800.00
On the day of return, the car will be checked and any damage to the vehicle not present on the day of departure will be reported to you. If the car does not show any damage, the security deposit will be returned to you within 5 working days
If you have no special requests or concerns about your booking, you can pay for your rental yourself directly on our website by credit/debit card or bank transfer.
You can cancel a reservation and receive a full refund by notifying customerservice@gogocar.rent within 48 hours of your pickup time, specifying your reservation number. Cancellations made after this time will not be refunded.
Fuel Policy and Km Included
No, the rental cost does not include fuel. We follow the policy “PICK UP FULL-RETURN FULL”, the vehicle must be returned with the same fuel level it had at the time of collection.
If this does not happen, you will be charged the cost of the missing refueling + the service cost for the missed refueling (€10 excluding VAT).
For short-term rentals, mileage is unlimited. For personalized quotes, especially for longer rentals, the monthly fee will vary depending on the monthly rate offered (standard rates range between 10,000 and 15,000 km per year). So don't hesitate to contact us for medium or long-term rentals.
Vehicles can be used in all countries listed on the Green Card
Fines
All fines are notified to GOGOCAR which provides for the re-notification to the customer or the payment and charging of the fine to the offender with the related management costs
