Vehicle reservation

GOGOCAR allows you to choose the car based on your needs and/or your tastes and we constantly strive to ensure that the chosen car is waiting for our customers on the day of collection. In extreme cases, if this is not possible, you will be informed of the replacement and a vehicle of the booked category or higher will be delivered to you 

You can pick up the car at our office located in Via Simone Martini 135, well connected to the Laurentina metro B stop. Or request the delivery service directly at the airport or at your hotel, as long as the structure is located within the GRA.

The answer is very simple, for as long as you want! 

We are open from Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 18:00 excluding holidays. If you need to pick up your car on Saturday, write to us.

We recommend that you write to us through the various channels specifying the period and possibly the request for unlimited mileage.

We will provide you with a tailor-made quote as soon as possible.

A rental day is equivalent to 24 hours from the time of collection and the cost is always the same even in case of early return.

Delivery after the scheduled time will incur the payment of an extra day's rental, however there is a minimum of flexibility so do not hesitate to let us know your needs.

Non serve lavare esternamente l’auto, è sufficiente raccogliere ogni oggetto o rifiuto presente all’interno. Verrà applicata una penale di €40 + IVA solo in caso di sporcizia profonda che richieda una pulizia speciale.

Rental requirements

You will be asked: 

  • Valid identity document
  • Driving license (issued for at least 12 months) 
  • Credit card in your name
  • If you are resident in a country that is not part of the EU you will also have to present your passport
NB It is not possible to rent any of our vehicles without a credit card, Not therefore, Bancomat, prepaid or Postepay cards are allowed
  • Minimum age of 21 years

You can rent provided you are 21 years of age or older and have held a valid driving license for at least 12 months. 

Sì, se in possesso di tutti i  requisiti per la guida dei veicoli. An extra cost of €5 per day per person will be applied for the total duration of the rental, so if you book directly on the site you must enter this information accurately.  

NB We will ask you a few days before your rental to communicate the data of the additional driver so that we can insert it in the rental agreement

Deductibles and Coverage

All vehicles are covered by RC insurance which guarantees coverage of Civil Liability towards third parties.

There is no coverage for driver injuries.

Copertura danni alla carrozzeria:
La copertura comprende esclusivamente i danni ai lamierati esterni della scocca, inclusi cofano, parafanghi, portiere, portellone e tetto.
Sono esclusi dalla definizione di carrozzeria:

 

  • cristalli (parabrezza, lunotto, vetri laterali)

  • specchietti retrovisori

  • fanaleria (anteriori e posteriori)

  • tergicristalli

  • antenne e sensori

  • cerchi, pneumatici e ruote

  • accessori esterni

La franchigia per i sinistri passivi si riduce a 500€+IVA e quella per il furto a 1000€+IVA.

Si tratta dell’opzione più completa in quanto copre tutta la carrozzeria, compresi: cristalli, specchietti, fanali, tergicristalli, accessori esterni, antenne e sensori, cerchi, pneumatici e ruote. Inoltre la franchigia sinistri si riduce ulteriormente a 250€ + IVA e furto a 500€+IVA.

Security Deposit and Rental Payment

On the day of picking up the vehicle, you will be asked to leave a security deposit by credit card

The amount varies according to the vehicle category: 

  • Economy: €500.00
  • Intermediate: €600.00
  • Luxury: €800.00

On the day of return, the car will be checked and any damage to the vehicle not present on the day of departure will be reported to you. If the car does not show any damage, the security deposit will be returned to you within 5 working days

Se non hai richieste particolari da farci, o dubbi sulla tua prenotazione, puoi pagare il tuo noleggio in totale autonomia e direttamente sul nostro sito tramite pagamento Stripe.

Si può annullare una prenotazione e ottenere il rimborso completo inviando una comunicazione a servizioclienti@gogocar.rent entro 72 ore dall’orario di noleggio, specificando il numero di prenotazione. Il preavviso oltre i tempi indicati non prevede alcuna restituzione.

Fuel Policy and Km Included

No, the rental cost does not include fuel. We follow the policy “PICK UP FULL-RETURN FULL”, the vehicle must be returned with the same fuel level it had at the time of collection.

Qualora questo non accadesse, verrà addebitato il costo del rifornimento mancante + il costo del servizio per il mancato rifornimento (10€ IVA esclusa).

 

 

Per il noleggio a breve termine i chilometri sono illimitati. Per preventivi personalizzati, in particolare nel caso di noleggi più lunghi, dipende dal canone mensile che viene proposto (canoni standard prevedono tra i 10.000 e 15.000 km all’anno). Quindi non esitate a contattarci per noleggi a medio o lungo termine.

All fines are notified to GOGOCAR che provvede alla rinotifica al cliente o al pagamento e all’addebito del verbale al trasgressore con le relative spese di gestione

Insurance

Insurance coverage

Civil liability

The rental vehicle protection includes civil liability protection with a maximum coverage for personal injury in the amount of € 10 million and property damage in the amount of € 2.5 million.

The use of vehicles for the transport of dangerous goods is excluded from the insurance. Any protection agreed under the rental agreement lapses, in particular, if an unauthorized driver uses the vehicle or if the driver of the vehicle, at the time of the accident, does not have a compulsory driving license.

Kasko damage

The “kasko” damage protection package limits part of the liability charged in case of damage.

If the renter chooses Kasko protection, he responds, depending on the vehicle, with a deductible that can vary between EUR 1,000.00 ie up to EUR 2,000.00 ie. There is the possibility of reducing and/or eliminating this deductible.

In the event of damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence, the agreed right to damage protection will be reduced or eliminated.

If no damage protection is agreed, the renter is liable for all damage to the car that is not unequivocally attributable to third parties, and is liable for the full value of the car itself.

The deductible per accident is 1000€ ie The deductible for car theft is 2000.00€ ie 

Warranty

As a guarantee, a security deposit amount is charged to the means of payment starting from 500 euros and based on the class of the rented vehicle.

Kilometers

The rental includes 100 km per day. 

Age requirements

The minimum age and possession of a driving license are governed by regulations applicable to the relevant vehicle and are disclosed in the booking process. In principle, the minimum age for any driver is 21 years (having a driving license for at least 1 year).

The minimum age requirement may differ depending on the vehicle.

There is an additional cost for drivers under 25 years of age.

Rent a car

Passport or identity card is required. 

Drivers must show an international driving license or a sworn translation into the language of the country of rental if:

  • Their driving license was issued in Europe and they are renting out of Europe.

  • Their driver's license was issued in a non-Latin alphabet, such as Arabic, Chinese, Greek, Russian, Hebrew, or Japanese (and other languages with a non-Latin alphabet).

  • In any case, upon rental, non-European citizens are required to declare that they have valid driving permits.

Drivers are required to inform themselves about the legislation in force in the country in which they intend to drive.

Drivers must bring their previous driving licenses or a letter from the competent authority certifying that they have the driving license for the minimum period if their current license does not indicate the full period.

Terms of payment

The Customer is required to present the credit card in the name of the person renting the vehicle. 

The name on the payment card (s) must be the same as on the main driver's license.

Cash and debit cards are not accepted.
